freeMAX frequently asked questions
What numbers can I call for free with my 720 minutes of free calls on the freeMax package?
All UK landline numbers beginning 01 and 02.
How long will it take to have the broadband and voice services installed?
freeMAX is available now to any UK customer in an area that can obtain ADSL MAX broadband. That's about 96% of telephone exchanges in Britain. You'll be a freeMAXer in about 2/3 weeks from order subject to survey. If there's any problem with your order, we'll contact you immediately.
How much would it be to upgrade to freeMax if I’m already a Biscit customer?
A one-off set-up charge of £29.99 will be made and a new contract will be issued.
If I was to purchase additional phone minutes, say 2400 minutes extra per month for £4.95, will I still get the 720 minutes that come with the package?
The additional £4.95 per month charge gives you a total of 2400 phone minutes each month. Thereafter, calls will be charged at our standard rates. Click here to view the rates.
Can I keep my same phone number?
Of course! And all the phone services associated with your phone.
Am I charged Monthly or Quarterly for freeMAX?
You will be billed quarterly in advance in accordance with phone billing practices.
Is there a cancellation fee should I wish to cancel?
As Biscit incur costs for setting up your service, we would seek to recoup costs if you leave within 12 months if you are on a non-freeMAX package or 18 months if you are on a freeMAX package. In the event of early cancellation of your service, you will be billed a cancellation fee of £70, in addition to any fees you incur upto the date of cancellation.
